RHT provides a wide selection of Modular Plugs, supporting reliable network and data connections for computers, routers, network switches, communication equipment, and industrial devices.
With various plug configurations, contact arrangements, cable compatibility options, structural designs, and specifications, our products meet different cable connection requirements, interface standards, and equipment integration needs.
RHT works closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and provide suitable Modular Plug solutions, supporting applications from sample evaluation and design verification to product integration.
Features
-Connector Type: RJ45, which is the standard connector used for Ethernet cables.
-Configuration: 8P8C (8 Position 8 Conductor), meaning it supports eight wires (four twisted pairs) for Ethernet connectivity. This configuration is compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7 Ethernet cables.
-Compatibility: Designed to fit into standard RJ45 jacks and ports found on networking devices such as switches, routers, network interface cards (NICs), and patch panels.
-Termination: Typically terminated using crimping tools and techniques to securely attach the conductors (wires) to the metal contacts inside the plug. This ensures stable electrical connections necessary for data transmission.
